FRENCH SPECIALTY BéBé LOUVRE AND COSTUME

Description: In this seminar, we will study the wonderful world of Jumeau. We will paint the 18” Jumeau BéBé Louvre. We will costume her in a lavish costume of blue silk with lace and ribbon. You will learn advanced sewing and complete this wonderful outfit. You will be introduced to the magic of the Jumeau dolls. The seminar kit will include: head, eyes, body, wig, fabric for the outfit and hat. You will receive 3 DAG points.

ADVANCED SPECIALTY ANTIQUE AND DDP SEMINAR

Dates: March 29-31, 2010

Description: In this seminar, you will learn how to paint 2010 Spring Into Summer Convention doll head, Simon & Halbig 949 and history behind this particular head. She has pierced ears and was sometimes made for the French market with paperweight eyes. You will also piant Ron Booker’s Eleanor. Carla will teach both the dimensional doll painting method on Eleanor and the wonderful antique reproduction of the Simon & Halbig 949. You will also receive the compo body, eyes, and wig for the Simon & Halbig and the cloth body pattern and arms, legs and SP for Eleanor. You will learn many extra steps to the DDP technique. Study eyebrows placements and mouth expressions. The price of the seminar covers both dolls complete. You will receive 3 DAG points.
