BAY AREA DOLL CLUB OF TEXAS

Specialty Saturdays

Becca's will offer a wide selection of Specialty Saturday classes, outside of the regular classes, in order to provide the opportunity to explore new products and make lovely gifts for yourself or loved ones.  Start planning special items now for your favorite people for birthdays or even Christmas.  During each class, different techniques and step-by-step instructions for the featured project will be provided.  Some of our specialty classes will be the lithopanes, hat making, shoe making, wig making, Doll in large egg, Doll Trunk, and many many more.  Some of these classes may take more than one Saturday afternoon.  Contact us for more information.

By request of many, we are starting a costuming class on certain Saturday afternoons.    Please call for further details and note the dates through this years.  Pattern is your choice.

New Techniques

There is a new technique for applying washes on modern dolls, called a tint rather than a wash.  Stop by the shop for a tech sheet.

Doll Artisan Guild has a new DDP Eye Worksheet done by Carla Snels that is wonderful for any color of eye you can imagine, and step by step directions for the perfect eyes.  New York Doll Product also has an "Eye" Tile so that you can have samples of all the very best colors for eyes.

Doll Artisan Guild has also introduced a new series of Level I seminars.  It is called Porcelain Concepts and Becca is certified to teach these seminars.  They also have a Dolly Boot Camp business seminar they have just started for everyone wanting to learn the business. There are also more, like the Art Deco, Complexion Connection.  Watch for them on my seminar schedule.  Please call for more information.
